Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Quad Build (the “Service”), operated by Quad. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You need an account to build projects. Keep your credentials secure — you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital age in your country) to use the Service. You may terminate your account at any time; certain provisions of these Terms survive termination.

Quad Build generates web applications from your descriptions using AI, previews them in live sandboxes, and can export them to GitHub and Vercel, optionally wired to a Supabase project you own. Generated output is produced by AI models and may contain errors — review, test, and publish code at your own discretion.

You own your prompts and the projects you build. We claim no ownership over them. You grant us the limited license needed to store, process, and display your content solely to operate the Service (for example, running your preview or exporting your repo). You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to anything you upload or ask the Service to build with.

The Service may produce code that resembles existing open-source or public code, and outputs are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. You are responsible for how you use generated code, including license compliance, security review, and compliance with applicable law before shipping it to production.

The Service is offered on Free, Pro, and Business plans. Paid plans are billed through our payment provider, Polar, and convert most of the subscription price into an AI usage budget. Usage beyond your plan’s budget may be metered or blocked until it resets. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change plan pricing with reasonable notice.

The Service integrates with GitHub, Vercel, Supabase, and other platforms at your direction. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. You control the scopes you grant and can revoke access at any time from the connected platform or from your Quad Build settings.

You may use the Service only lawfully. You must not build, host, or distribute content that violates our Acceptable Use Policy, abuse sandboxes or usage budgets, attempt to disrupt the Service or other users, or reverse-engineer the Service beyond what law allows. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

We work hard to keep the Service available, but we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it — including sandboxes and previews for inactive projects — at any time. Sandboxes are ephemeral; your durable code lives in your project files and any repos you have pushed.

Except as expressly stated, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated code will meet your requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quad and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for all claims related to the Service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $100.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Quad from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your projects, or your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you through the Service or by email before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
